November Scrapbooking class.

Posted by Sonia Hocking on

Hello all

This month loads of wonderful Christmas- themed dies, stamps, embossing folders, papers and embellishments have been pouring in and I am doing my best to get them up on the website but if you are after something and don't see it listed give me a call, I may just have it!  Lots of essentials have also arrived e.g; adhesive refills.

This month’s scrapbooking class we will be creating three single page layouts using the Archived paper pack by Teresa Collins from WeR Memory Keepers.  Any newcomer to the November Scrapbooking class will receive 50% off the cost of the class.  Any regular who brings a newcomer will receive 50% off their class fee also.

Each layout contains two photos and would suit a range of themes. I have used one 4 x 6 portrait photo and one cropped down to 2.5 x 4.5” for the first layout, two landscape photos cropped down to 5 x 4 inches for the second photo ( yours do not need to be cropped) and finally the last layout contains two portrait photos.  While there is no specific theme, my focus when designing the pages was to get back to basics with more than one photo per layout and a designated spot to journal.

The pack contains 12 double-sided 12 x12 papers and two 12x12 sticker sheets, the class kit will also contain 2 sheets each of white and grey cardstock, a chipboard title , ribbon and timber embellishments as well as full coloured instructions to make the three layouts.   We will also be making a few extra embellishments ourselves.

There will be paper left over and there will be some examples of how to use the left overs at the class.

Classes will be held on Thursday night, 3rd December, 7-10pm and Saturday, 5th December, 1-5pm.  The cost of the class is $45.  Bookings are essential and your place and kit will be confirmed when you book.

Bring your trimmer, ruler, pencil, black ink, blender/sponge, glue, foam mount, fine tip applicator and tape/tape runner as well asphotos as described above.
